HardnutZ Ltd launched on 10/10/10 with a mission to create a brand, starting with sports safety helmets and related products, that stand out from the crowd, that people want to wear as much as a fashion statement as a safety product.
We’ve tried to create a brand that has a strong identity, a memorable name and a product that ‘does what it says on the tin’.
We want to make the Ski Helmet and Cycle Helmet market a little bit funkier.
We were bored with the seemingly limited range of visual designs – ironically we found that Ski Helmets were the least adventurous.
We researched the market to discover that more and more safety conscious skiers and cyclists were considering a helmet but didn’t really like either the design or the patterns.
If we could get people to want to wear a helmet we’d be half way there.
We’ve designed our Ski helmets as a hybrid between a Ski helmet and a snowboarding helmet.
We’ve then tried to break as many manufacturing visual production rules as possible to produce some original, vibrant, fun and interesting designs whilst retaining the highest regards for quality of manufacture and safety.
We’ve paid to have all our helmet and goggle models tested and certified to the latest EU Standards.
We’re not expecting everyone to like all of our designs but we’ve intentionally tried to produce a range of helmets that we hope everyone will find 2 or 3 they really like and would wear!

They are high quality, lightweight, inmould cycle helmets and come with a detachable visor plus 19 vents to help keep your head cool when you’re out burning up the tarmac. These cycle helmets come in one size but have a dial-fit system which means they will fit anyone whose head measures from 54cms-62cms.
